Creating a website that allowed leaders to publish information for their members to access was the primary goal of this project.
The new website allows for specific sections for each of the different groups. This way parents of scouts can focus in on what their camper is currently doing and what’s coming up but also allows for an overall view of the rest of the organization if interested.
Updates posted by leaders automatically send out notifications to scouts and their parents keeping them in the loop. This can save much time sending individual emails and provides a central resource for families to check in for updated information.
Having a calendar of events helps families organize themselves for meetings and up coming trips and camping. The calendar allows families to subscribe to a specific groups and automatically updates their phones and devices as changes are made to the calendar.
And of course this new website has to be mobile friendly so campers and their families can access the information from any device at any time.
